Is it just that their way of thinking is the total opposite of mine? Like why are the insurgents in Iraq trying so desperately to disrupt, maim, kill and destroy everything and everyone around them. Can they not see that change is inevitable and possibly the best thing for all. Is the best solution to your grievance to blow yourself up and take others you don't even know with you.

I also don't understand how people can be so cruel to animals, children and the elderly. Why would anyone want to molest babies? Where is the thrill in that? Why do we get a cute puppy then when it gets older we tie it to a tree and forget to feed and water it not to mention provide it with the medical attention it needs. Speaking of medical attention, why do our elderly citizens have to use half of their monthly income to pay for much needed medicine? Most will not go without heat or other essentials in order to have it and some even skip getting their medication in order to eat. When our government officials can spend billions on frivolous ventures and yet they can't spare any for it's own citizens well being then I say we need to have our elected officials walk in the shoes of our most desperate citizens and then maybe they could see the total picture of what really matters when it comes basic human need.

Why can't I understand any of this? Has my way of thinking become corrupt and I can't see what others do? In the age of understanding and enlightens I am totally lacking. Why does the parents of Susie and Johnny spend the rent and grocery money on drugs? What made that man kidnap that child and rape and kill it. What purpose did it serve? Maybe the things we do do not necessasarily need a purpose or reason. We just do it because we want to no matter who else suffers. Whatever makes you feel good seems to be the norm. What ever happen to the conscious? I think it was bred out of most people.

No small jobs

There are no small jobs. Only people who perceive them as small become small in the doing of them.Every job is a self portrait of the person who does it. Autograph your work with EXCELLENCE!

A job doesn't have to have a paycheck attached to it. The dictionary describes a job as: Something that has to be done. It could be in the form of helping a neighbor or love one, picking up trash that another has carelessly thrown aside, donating time and or money to a worthy cause. Whatever job you are called to do, do it with a glad heart and with no reward expected because your reward is in the doing.

It doesn't take much talent, exhaustive energy, or great chunks of time to do good. But it does take a warm heart and willing hands. If you have those, you'll find the time, energy, and ability.
